  1. A question: does the KJV in the New Testament quote the KJV in the Old Testament on a word for word basis? In other words, is it true that every single time the Old Testament is quote, the New Testament quotes it verbatim?

  4. Help me explain this. Yes, the new versions refer to Joseph as Jesus' father which would seem to attack the virgin birth. But the KJV refers to Joseph and Mary as his parents (Luke 2:27 and Luke 2:41 if I recall). So I'm not sure that simply referring to Joseph as Jesus' father (of course, he is his adoptive father) is a problem.

  5. Also, wouldn't Mary have known that Joseph is not the Father - since Jesus came out of her womb and she knew the conception was miraculous? Thanks!

  6. When marry said behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
The f is lower case. When Jesus corrected his mother he said to her How is it that ye sought me? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? When Jesus refers to his Father the F is capital.

  7. Hi Steven,

What happened to the book? A Heresy Reconsidered: The Post-trib, Pre-wrath Rapture of the Church

Why is it no longer in print?

    Thanks,

    Eugene

  8. With regard to capital letters: the original Greek manuscripts were written all in capital letters; lowercase letters weren't introduced until hundreds of years later (around 900 AD if I'm not mistaken)
