Anti-Anderson Conference: This Time It's Personal!

So after the Keith Gomez gave the prelude that I covered in the previous post, Sam Gipp got up to preach the final sermon of the Anti-Anderson Conference. The sermon mainly consisted of wild speculations, accusations, and lies about me personally.

One thing that he made a big deal about was stating that I received more than a million dollars from the government in a settlement regarding the border patrol incident that I was involved in back in April 2009. He then went on to say that I am no longer against border patrol checkpoints now that I have been paid. The truth is that when I sued the government in that case, it was thrown out by a federal judge, and I received nothing! In fact, that incident cost me over $10,000 of my own money for lawyer fees, new windows for my car, and hospital bills. There are videos of me in court on YouTube winning the criminal trial (i.e. I was declared not guilty on all counts), but when I sued them for damages, I was ruled against by a federal judge, and it never even went to court.

But, no, according to Sam Gipp, I am a millionaire! That is why I live in a 1540 square foot house built in 1956 in a questionable neighborhood, share a vehicle with my wife, and buy all my clothes at Goodwill.

The sermon was pretty much like that the whole time - wild accusations with no proof given. Most of what he said would be clearly proven false just by sitting down and watching After the Tribulation. He claims that I told him that I didn't know Pastor Roland Rasmussen and have nothing to do with him. What in the world? Then why did we use him as the narrator in our After the Tribulation film? The truth is that Pastor Rasmussen won my parents to the Lord when they were children in Canoga Park, CA, in the early 1960s. However, in those days Pastor Rasmussen was pre-trib. He came out with his book debunking the pre-trib rapture in 1996 (when I was 15 years old), but I didn't hear about the book until years later when I met Roland Rasmussen for the first time in the year 2000, and I didn't read it until late 2006 when one of Pastor Rasmussen's church members began attending our church every Wednesday night because he was commuting to Phoenix each week. I still talk to Pastor Rasmussen on the phone every few months because he is extremely intelligent, and I enjoy discussing Bible prophecy with him. Even though we don't see eye to eye on many things, I have great respect for his scholarship and Bible knowledge and always learn something.

One thing that cracked me up was his story about calling Pastor Roger Jimenez. He claimed that Pastor Jimenez had to call me and report to me because I am his cult leader. The true story is that he called Brother Jimenez and said, "I am trying to get a hold of Pastor Anderson. Can you have him give me a call?" In fact, he let's this slip out in the clip below because after telling the lie about Jimenez having to report to me, he then says that he told Jimenez that he wanted to speak to me! Gipp also had the gall to say that I like his material on the King James Version. In his dreams! His material on the KJV is garbage, and I have never liked it. I rebuked his foolish teaching on the word "Easter" about 10 years ago and have always avoided him and all other Ruckmanite false teachers. I believe that the KJV is the word of God without error, but I think that people like Gipp do damage to the cause of KJV-onlyism because their arguments are so weak, people like James White (also a heretic) can easily dismantle them. Here is the video where Brother Jimenez rebukes Sam Gipp's lies:

A few more highlights from the evening: here is where Sam Gipp brags about the viewcount on his videos going into the stratosphere (83 viewers) after he attacked me:

Here is where Sam Gipp delivers his bombshell about the word "tribulation" being used 22 times in the New Testament, but only in 21 verses. Oh, no! He got me!

Here is where Sam Gipp lies about my chart showing the timeline of the book of Revelation:

Oh, and no meeting would be complete without the invitation:

  1. Please make a documentary about the IBP churches becoming apostate. You could use the anti-Christ Gipp as your poster Boy.

  2. I'm from Tucson and I wish you were down here. I follow your YouTube and Facebook streams; very strong, bold preaching.

You're 22 hour series changed my life. I used to avoid bible prophecy like the plague. The main reason for this was that a plane reading of scripture never matched up with what I was being told by the so-called experts. And it wasn't until I watched your video series that everything unfolded and made perfect sense with what I had always read for myself from the scriptures.

Continue to fight the good fight. We need more men of God like you; fighting the wolves from without and the wolves in sheep's clothing within.

  4. Don't give those guys anymore time. People on the side of truth see through their garbage.

  5. I'm pretty sure 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 tells us we should be suing people and taking them before the judge. Just a thought...

Keith the Hut Gomez, who may, or may not be a clone of John Hagee, challenges, and demonstrates his awesome pugilism skill over light weight contender Pastor Steven Anderson. Let' get ready to rumble!!!

  8. Inquiring minds want to know. Mr. Gipp, Mr Gomez. What are your individual net worths. Why don't you cough up some bank statements, and tax returns, just so we have some perspective. You certainly don't want to be hypocrites do you? Too late!

  10. Sam Gipp moans about the money he claims you have. How much money has HE made, using churches to hawk his stinking books from behind the pulpit??? He will "preach" for 30-40 minutes and literally 20 minutes advertising his books. Now why do people like this lie about God and His Word? Titus 1...

  12. Who is taking who out of context? Gipp took Matthew 1 and the angel out of context by ignoring the scripture in v.21!

  13. Hello Pastor,
God bless you and your ministry, your sermons have been a great help to my wife and I here in Canada. I would love to talk and tell more but just wanted to find a way to get this information to you that will clearly and historically refute one of the many lies of Mr. Gipp from his video (Sam Gipp's Rebuttal to Steven Anderson) posted on Sam Gipp's Channel (published May 12 2017). At 7:05 in the video Mr. Gipp states that "the mid tribulation rapture did not start until 1990". To clearly demonstrate this is false you may refer to the 1769 Revised Standard Oxford Edition of the King James Bible. This facsimile of where our current King James comes from can be purchased from greatsite.com. There is a note at the beginning of each chapter summarizing what it is about. The note pertaining to Second Thessalonians, Chapter Two state: 1 Paul warneth the Thessalonians against a groundless surmise that the day of Christ was near at hand; 3 shewing that it would be preceded by a great apostasy, and the man of sin would be first revealed, and by his wicked impostures draw many into perdition. 13 He repeateth his good hopes concerning them, 15 exhorting them to stand fast in his doctrine, and praying God to comfort and stablish them in all goodness.

I hope this will be of some assistance as you have been of great assistance to the growth of my christian life.
    May God bless you,
    Sincerely,
Liam D. BC, Canada (P.S: A big thanks to Framing the World for the preaching DVDs that were sent awhile back and my wife is desiring the piano teaching books so I'm sure you will be hearing from us again, much thanks!)
