Catholics Butcher the 10 Commandments

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." - Exodus 20:4-6

The commandment that tells us not to make any graven images, bow down to them, etc., is widely accepted as the second of the Ten Commandments, but Catholics and some Protestants, including Martin Luther, have eliminated this important commandment. They don’t want to acknowledge the verses that specifically prohibit idolatry because their church and their homes are filled with graven images, and they do bow down to them. Their solution to this dilemma is that they just refuse to acknowledge that as one of the ten commandments.

In Deuteronomy 10:4, the list is actually called the "Ten Commandments," so they still have to somehow come up with ten. The way they do this is by splitting another of the commandments, “Thou shalt not covet,” into two parts. They’ll take the commandment not to covet and separate it by examples of things we should not be coveting. According to them, commandment #9 is, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife," and commandment #10 is, "Thou shalt not covet anything else that is thy neighbor's."

Catholic version of 10 commandments

In the New Testament, Jesus quotes the commandment as, “Thou shalt not covet.” When he lists the five commandments that deal with loving your fellow man, he leaves off the additional clarification about specific things people should not covet. All throughout the New Testament, this commandment is quoted as simply, “Thou shalt not covet,” so it is clearly one all-encompassing commandment that deals with the sin of covetousness.

If you talk to a real hard-core Protestant, they’ll tell you, “I am Catholic.” Do you know why they’re called Protestant? They’re Protestant Catholics. That’s why if you go to a Protestant church today, they will say “We believe in the holy Catholic church," which they recite as part of the "Apostle's Creed." I talked to a Dutch Reformed guy and he said, "We’re the real Catholics. We're just not ROMAN Catholics."

People will mistakenly think that Baptists are Protestants or that Protestants are like Baptists. The truth is that Protestants have a lot of beliefs and practices in common with Catholics, which is why I often refer to them as “Catholic Lite.” The fact that even Martin Luther embraced the Catholic version of the Ten Commandments is just one example of how similar Catholics and Protestants really are.

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-1)

#1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

#2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

#3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

#4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

#5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

#6. Thou shalt not kill.

#7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

#8. Thou shalt not steal.

#9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

#10 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.”

Black Hebrew Israelites Exposed

The Black Hebrew Israelite movement has dozens of chapters across the country and is known for its anti-white sentiments. They are very vocal on YouTube, and when we run into them out soul-winning, they tend to be hostile.

No better than the KKK, Black Hebrew Israelites hate certain people because of the color of their skin. They claim white people are Edomites, but what does the Bible say about hating Edomites?

"Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land." Deuteronomy 23:7

The whole point of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement is to try to prove that Jesus Christ is black, which makes zero sense. I love black people, but this teaching is contrary to scripture, contrary to history, and contrary to common sense. Instead of accepting the fact that people come in different colors and we can’t all look just like God, Black Hebrew Israelites want to fashion a God in their own image. One of their favorite verses is the following verse from Revelation:

“His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;” Revelation 1:14

They interpret that to mean that Jesus has wooly hair, so he’s a black man. The verse does not say his hair is like wool or wooly. It is saying his hair and his head are white like wool. I believe this is due in part to the fact that Jesus is glowing, but it is ridiculous to try to use a verse that says he is white to prove he is black. They'll also use a verse about people's skin being blackened because they are suffering from starvation to try to prove that the children of Israel were black.

"Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick." - Lamentations 4:8

"Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine." - Lamentations 5:10

No skin color is better than another, but saying that Jesus was black makes about as much sense as saying he was Chinese. If I had to guess, I’d say that Jesus probably had light brown skin while he was here on this earth based on his nationality and the fact that he was born in the Middle East.

We can see from reading the Levitical law on leprosy that black hair was the norm for the children of Israel, but there’s a verse in Jeremiah where he talks about the Ethiopian’s skin, so it was obviously noticeably different than the skin of Jeremiah and the people to whom he was speaking.

“Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.” Jeremiah 13:23

Anybody who is following the Black Hebrew Israelites is not very smart. You don’t see educated black people joining the Black Hebrew Israelites. This group is nothing more than a gang of ghetto thugs who want to take their preconceived racist ideas and try to fit them into the Bible. They are wrong on salvation, and their primary focus is race. They are so prideful about their skin color that they refuse to worship God unless he looks just like them.

We don’t know exactly what Jesus looks like, but he was not born in Sub-Saharan Africa. Not only that, but trying to elevate one ethnicity above another is unbiblical because the Bible says to avoid genealogies. Hopefully this post will give you a few answers for these Black Hebrew Israelites who are just trying to glory in their flesh. Whether someone is extremely black, extremely white, or somewhere in between, they can become grafted into the family because God is not a respecter of persons.

“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.” Romans 10:12

The Truth about Hinduism

I recently uploaded a documentary to YouTube called "The Truth About Hinduism." Coincidently, just as we came out with this documentary, there was a news story about a CNN host eating human brains with the Aghori people, a Hindu group that is discussed in our film. What that CNN guy did was wicked, but I believe God had a hand in the timing of the news story in order to draw more attention to our film.

The Truth About Hinduism not only exposes Hinduism as a Satanic religion, but it also gives a clear presentation of the Gospel. In just six days, it had over 65,000 views until it was suddenly removed by YouTube. You can still watch the full movie here on archive.org free of charge. If you didn’t get to see it, I strongly recommend that you watch it while it is still available online. We are also putting it on a DVD, which will be available for free here at Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, starting on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

If you come to our church, we’ll have the DVDs on the back shelf for you in two different styles of packaging, but if you don’t live in the area, you can order the DVDs from Framingtheworld.com. If you buy the DVD in the regular blockbuster case, you’ll also get two additional giveaway-style DVDs in small, cardboard sleeves and shrink wrap. We really hope you will share this documentary with people which is why we are packaging the DVDs this way.

You will basically be getting three DVDs for the price of one. You’ll have one nice DVD to keep on the shelf and a couple of giveaway-style ones that are more convenient to hand out. I produced this film because I love Indian people and want to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thousands of people have been saved as a result of some of our other documentaries, and hopefully many will be reached with this one.

There are 1.1 billion Hindus in the world, but you hardly ever hear preaching specifically against Hinduism. Not only that, but many of the philosophies of Hinduism have made their way into our American culture, and we need to expose them as unscriptural. I’m hoping that this educational video will inspire Christians to win Hindus to Christ, but hopefully, many Hindus will also watch the film and see that they are in a false religion and need to get saved. The Truth About Hinduism is an interesting film with some shocking information in it that YouTube apparently doesn’t want people to see.

Most Recent Missions Trip to Guyana & Trinidad and Tobago

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35

Our most recent missions trip to Guyana proved very fruitful. I was part of a team of nine guys, and we were all just blown away by how receptive people are down there. When we first asked people if they knew for sure they were on their way to heaven, hardly anybody gave the right answer. The people of Guyana love the Bible and are often affiliated with some "Christian" denomination, but they are lost.

Day 1 (February 28, 2017)

A few of the guys got there ahead of us and started winning souls before they picked us up at the airport. They had 16 people saved during that time. On my first day there, we preached the Gospel in two schools and made appointments to preach in several more. The students were very attentive, and hundreds raised their hand and prayed to receive Christ. In addition to that, 73 of the people we dealt with one-on-one that day got saved.

Day 2 (March 1, 2017)

The next day went even better. We preached in several more schools including a large Catholic school where they split us up and had us preach to several separate classes. Thankfully, our guys had sermons ready since we thought I was going to be preaching to the entire student body all at once. Each guy preached two or three different sermons to an average class size of 30-75 students. It seemed like almost every student raised their hand to get saved. At each school, we talked to a lot of students and teachers one on one, and many of them got saved. We also gave out DVDs of our films to the students and teachers at every school we visited.

Day 3 (March 2, 2017)

We returned to preach to the rest of Central High School, a school where we had preached to half of the students the day before. We also stopped by the Catholic school, St. Rose’s, to drop off more USBs and DVDs, and then we headed to Georgetown and did some tourist stuff. We visited the ocean, shopped for souvenirs, and handed out DVDs. People liked that we were missionaries and gathered around to hear what we had to say, resulting in more salvations.

Day 4 (March 3, 2017)

We left Guyana on the fourth morning, but three members of our team stayed behind to preach in more schools. The rest of us flew to Trinidad, where we had 54 people show up for the preaching service. Many of those in attendance were die-hard listeners, but others were just visitors that the listeners had brought. Eleven visitors got saved that evening, and four people were baptized early the next morning.

We would have baptized a lot more, but the hotel was strict about not allowing cotton clothing in the pool, so we were only able to baptize those who had swim trunks. Later that day we went soul winning. We had 15 soul winners out, and eight people got saved. Trinidad wasn’t quite as receptive as Guyana, but the soul winning still went well.

Totals for This Trip

To summarize the whole trip: In four and a half days we preached to 4500 school children. We handed out approximately 7000 DVDS and over 300 flash drives. I baptized four people, and we saw 169 people saved through personal soul winning.

The salvation number of 169 is very conservative and only includes people that we dealt with one-on-one through personal soul-winning, not the school students who heard the Gospel in a large group.  The majority of school students raised their hand and prayed a prayer after hearing the plan of salvation, and if I had to guess, I’d say there were over 1,000 saved, but we are only officially counting those who we were able to deal with on a more personal level. Our goal is to keep returning to Guyana and preach in a total of 111 schools over the next two years. We can potentially reach an entire generation in that country with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

One of the great things about the trip was that several people other than myself got to preach. All of us did a lot of soul winning. My son Solomon won ten people to the Lord on the trip and was excited about the fact that several of them were teenagers around his age. Everyone on the team had an amazing time and gained valuable experience.

Please let me know if you are interested in joining us on a future missions trip. We are going to Malawi, Africa, in April. When it comes to soul-winning, South America and Africa really aren't that different. We are going to the poor people of this world that are receptive to the gospel, and we need more laborers.

“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Here is a video of Peter James preaching at a school in Guyana.
