Baptist Mid Missions Hypocrisy

Bibles International, who is threatening to sue Paul Wittenberger for his film New World Order Bible Versions, is the Bible Society of Baptist Mid Missions.

Here is an email I received from a listener in the Netherlands regarding Baptist Mid Missions:

Regarding Baptist Mid Missions: I saw at their website that they actually had a mission to The Netherlands, the country where I live (http://www.bmm.org/BMM/WhereWeServe/Europe/thenetherlands.htm). I was very surprised because I didn't know that and mailed them immediately for an address. They never answered my mail. So I went and looked them up myself and finally found them (http://www.ebg-hetbaken.nl/gemeente/geschiedenis). At their website was only very vague doctrine, so I called the pastor and asked first of all what Bible versions they used, because if they don't hear his voice, they aren't of his sheep... (John 10:27) And it turned out they used many Dutch new versions AND NOT the one that is somewhat similar (but very inferior) to the KJV, which is called the Statenvertaling (of 1637). Though I knew enough I asked somewhat more to be sure ("if you believe on Jesus, and then commit suicide, are you still going to heaven?" "Well, I can't tell that, that's up to God. (...) I don't really understand the Bible on this.") So this Baptist Mid Missions church had a pastor who wasn't even saved. As I did more research it turned out that BMM had sent a pastor, Herb Boyd, in the fifties (who still lives and still is a part time pastor) who immediately joined the Dutch association of unsaved liberal Baptists (Baptistenunie) when he got here. His sons now get money from BMM to be a missionary here as well (probably about $6000 net a month! see the financial folder at http://we5boyds.wix.com/home#!media/cl69). The Boyd family of BMM missionaries have their own website at http://www.boydsineurope.com/. One of his sons has an extensive statement of faith (http://tinyurl.com/kxyeruwin which he says that only the originals of the Bible are inspired and the ESV is a good translation as well; that he believes in unconditional election (Calvinism, point 7.3) and "I believe that once God has begun His work of salvation in a person He will bring that work to completion. I believe that a person cannot, then, lose his salvation, because the guarantee of salvation is based upon God and not on man." I do not understand how Baptist Mid Missions can condone of such heretics. But the Bible has to say something about this. "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." (Matthew 7:18) And you know what the sad thing is? People in America donate to such an organisation because they think people will get saved abroad, while in reality these missionaries are damning people to hell.

As for Bibles International, this organisation has only one project in Europe, a Bible in Luxembourgish, which is kind of strange, seeing that everyone in Luxembourg (with a population of five hundred thousand, I've been there on holidays many times) speaks either French or German natively. I mean Germany - as you probably know - doesn't even have a Bible that is of the same quality as the KJV. If you don't believe it, just look up James 2:18 in Luther or in the Dutch Statenvertaling, they leave out the word "without", changing the meaning altogether! "Aber es möchte jemand sagen / Du hast den glauben / vnd ich habe die werck / Zeige mir deinen glauben mit deinen wercken / So wil ich auch meinen glauben dir zeigen mit meinen wercken." (Luther) "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." (James 2:18, KJV) So I'm carefully making my own translation of the KJV into Dutch, because the Statenvertaling is just so bad a translation that I don't think people can get saved from it. If a Bible should be translated into Europe, I believe that in this case Bibles International should have taken an important language like German or French first. It seems to me that Bibles International only want to translate into languages which don't have a Bible at all (so they get full glory?), and in a way that's fine, but if they'd taken German, both the people in Germany as well as in Luxembourg would have had a good Bible. In a way the Germans don't have a Bible either. And if you look at the translation team of the Luxembourg Bible of Bibles International, there are three pants wearing women in it! (see the picture at http://biblesint.org/biNew/languages/europe/luxembourgish)
I am not saying that Baptist Mid Missions or Bibles International don't have any good missionaries or Bibles, I don't know, but in The Netherlands they only have heretical churches as I've shown you. And again this does tell me something: "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." (Matthew 7:18) So I fear that when a (unsaved) Dutch man sees New World Order Bible Versions, and he learns about Baptist Mid Missions, he will think that organisation has some good churches here in The Netherlands, while that's just not true. I know that New World Order Bible Versions was made primarily for an American audience, so I understand perfectly well that these things may not be an issue in the US itself, but in the Dutch case it is a problem. The Bible tells us to "Abstain from all appearance of evil." (1 Thessalonians 5:22) and in The Netherlands the BMM stuff could be misunderstood.

Ridiculous Teaching on Homos by Todd Friel of "Wretched"

This video pretty much sums up the opinion of the vast majority of typical evangelicals today when it comes to homosexuals:

Yet this nonsense is easily proven wrong by the Bible. First of all, did you notice that Todd Friel did not quote a single scripture to support his position? That is because none of the scriptures that deal with homosexuality support his view. He teaches that we should love, hang out with, and be buddy-buddy with sodomite relatives. But what does the Bible say?
Romans 1:

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Then after giving a role call of the attributes of these Sodomite reprobates, he says in verse 32:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
So, in verse 32 the Bible clearly tells us that it is a sin for us to take pleasure in those who commit such things. Wouldn't being their friend, going to barbecues with them, and "loving them to death" fall under the category of "taking pleasure in them"?

Not only that, but the Bible says in 2 Peter 2:

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
So was Lot right to stay and hang out in Sodom? Was he right to pitch his tent toward Sodom? NO. He vexed his righteous soul by doing so, and as a result, both of his daughters grew up to be filthy perverts themselves. A similar result will happen to those who follow the wicked advice in this video.

In the Romans 1 role call of Sodomite attributes, notice that one of the things on the list is "haters of God:"
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Now compare that with Psalm 139:
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
Isn't Psalm 139 one of the psalms we are commanded to sing in Ephesians 5 and Colossians 3? Did David love homosexuals in light of the fact that the Bible says that homosexuals are "haters of God" in Romans 1? 2 Chronicles 19:2 teaches the same thing:
And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord.
Here are more biblical examples of how men of God dealt with sodomites:
1 Kings 15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
1 Kings 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.
2 Kings 23:7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the Lord, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
Which of these godly men invited the sodomites to a barbecue, Todd Friel? Which of these righteous kings "loved them to death"? Put to death? Yes. Loved to death? No.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Sorry, Todd, although your view sounds really good to the unlearned, it is totally unbiblical. All sin is not equal as you imply in this video. The Bible speaks of the "greater sins" and "greater damnation" for a reason.

Please do not be deceived by this video or other similar teachings on homosexuality. KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM HOMOSEXUALS, no matter what fools like Todd Friel tell you. They are dangerous perverts and pedophiles that the Bible warns us in Genesis 19, Judges 19, and Romans 1 are violent.

Spanish Version of After the Tribulation Coming Summer 2014

This summer we will be releasing a Spanish version of After the Tribulation to YouTube and DVD. Translation of the movie is now underway, and we are going into the studio in early June to redo all of the audio in Spanish. Pastor Roger Jimenez and I will be doing our own voices, and Brother Chris Segura from Faithful Word Baptist Church will be supplying the voices for Dr. Kent Hovind and Dr. Roland Rasmussen. In addition Paul Wittenberger will be redoing visual elements, such as the Bible verses, charts, graphics, etc. At the end of the film, the Gospel will be clearly presented in Spanish.

This project is a major undertaking, but I believe we will reach a lot of Spanish-speaking people with this film. The English version of the film has already been viewed over 2 million times on YouTube, let alone all the thousands of DVDs that are out there. God willing, the Spanish edition will also be used by God to wake up many Christians who are asleep.

We are trying to raise $9,500 to pay for this project, so if you believe in what we are doing, please consider making a donation to the film. Every little bit counts!

Why do we need to raise money for the project? Well, even though a lot of this project is being done by volunteers, there are certain costs that cannot be avoided in order to do it right and make a professional film.

Audio Studio Expense and Post Audio Editing - $4,000
New Visual Graphics - $3,000
Manufacturing Costs - $2,000
Artwork - $250
Misc - $250

Total = $9,500

This does not factor in the translation, which is being done by volunteers, nor travel expenses for Pastor Anderson, Pastor Jimenez, and Chris Segura to spend 3 days in Los Angeles recording the audio, which they will cover themselves.

Let's make this film happen!

Full Transcription of After the Tribulation Movie!

Introduction - Surprises that should not have been surprises

(Ezekiel 33:6) But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

- 911 Footage -

Dr. Roland Rasmussen: On September 11, 2001, the world changed. The "land of the free" has now become the land of the enslaved. The people of our once glorious United States have traded their liberty for security. But has it all happened by design?

Dr. Roland Rasmussen: Many questions linger about the events of that day - that day of infamy. But one thing we know for certain: the surprise attack on pearl harbor set in motion a course of events that would eventually lead us to a one world government.

Dr. Roland Rasmussen: In the aftermath of World War 2, the United Nations was created, and the path toward a one world government accelerated. Each war brings us one step closer to what the Bible calls "the end of the world." Checkpoints are being set up everywhere; the police state is tightening its grip on the people of the United States, and to those who understand biblical prophecy, what comes next will not be a surprise.

Dr. Roland Rasmussen: At some time in the future, the King James Bible states that everyone on the planet will be required to take a mark in order to buy or sell. As our current economic system collapses, and as technology expands, cash is becoming a thing of the past. The reality of a cashless society is not far off. In fact, it's already being implemented. Despite denials by many religious leaders, evil men are working around the clock to bring in a New World Order. We can see the end rapidly approaching, and the stage being set for the emergence of the antichrist. We can hear the voices of those who are subverting our US Constitution and promoting this global government system. And with all this right around the corner, this film is more important than ever. Satan is working behind the scenes to set up a one world government and a one world religion in preparation for the antichrist. He has also deceived modern evangelical Christians into believing that they will be removed from this earth before the Great Tribulation takes place. This doctrine, known as the "pre-tribulation rapture," teaches that Christ may return at any moment, and that there will be no signs of his coming. As a result of this deception, most Christians are completely unprepared for what the Bible has warned us is coming. Although the scriptures clearly state in Matthew 24, and elsewhere, that the rapture will take place AFTER THE TRIBULATION, big name preachers, Bible colleges, and popular films such as Left Behind have taught the masses to expect that the rapture may occur at any moment. And because most Christians have never read the entire Bible for themselves, few are aware that the pre-trib rapture is a fraud not found in scripture. But if the pre-tribulation rapture is not found in scripture, where did it come from?

Scene 1 - Characters

Pastor Anderson: My name is Steven Anderson, and I am the pastor of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, and I am on a mission to educate people about the pre-tribulation rapture because it is a position that is based upon ignorance, and I just believe that if people would see the scriptures and see the facts, it would not be hard for them to come to the conclusion that the rapture definitely comes AFTER THE TRIBULATION.

Why We Switched to Home Birth

-->

Solomon, a few minutes after being born

Zsuzsa's pregnancy went well as we approached her due date in late September 2001. On the morning of September 11, we were awoken by the extremely loud ringing of my antique rotary phone. It had a literal bell inside of it that sounded like a school bell. I was working nights on a fire alarm project in a school at the time, so we were still asleep when the call came in from my dad.

"Steve! You need to come over right away! America is being attacked! Planes are crashing all over the United States, skyscrapers are coming down...!" We got dressed and rushed over to my parents' house to see what was going on. We didn't have a TV, so we had to go there to figure out what was happening. It turned out that my dad had exaggerated just a little bit.

On Friday, September 21, about halfway through the workday, my wife called my boss at work telling him that she was in labor. He radioed me at the jobsite to let me know, and I left work early with a lot of backslapping, congratulations, and well-wishes from my coworkers. It turned out to be a false alarm. I was pretty embarrassed when I had to walk into work the next Monday morning and tell everyone it was a false alarm, and that the baby still had not come. The next Friday, my wife went into labor for real, and everyone at work had a good laugh that maybe I just liked taking early weekends.

When we got to the hospital, my wife was checked into the maternity ward, and we waited for things to progress. The nurses told her that she wasn't allowed to eat anything, but my mom and I made a lunch run for Arby's, and my wife just couldn't resist, so we smuggled her in a roast beef sandwich. Not long after eating the contraband, she threw up the entire thing. The only thing to throw up in were these little tiny kidney bean shaped plastic dishes that were so small, my mom and I had to bucket brigade them to the bathroom and back as she threw up her entire lunch. We quickly destroyed all the evidence before the nurse came back into the room.

"Did you have breakfast this morning?" she asked.

"No." Technically she was telling the truth because she had not had breakfast that morning, but we didn't tell her about the Arby's incident moments before.

The OBGyn showed up at some point and broke my wife's water and put her on Pitocin. Of course, neither of these interventions made any sense, but my wife and I didn't know then what we know now about childbirth. The Pitocin brought on violent, painful contractions that Zsuzsa suffered through for hours. Still, she didn't yell as much as the woman in the room next door to us who was loudly screaming and cursing.

Finally the baby was in the birth canal, and it was time to push. The OBGyn came back at this point and after barely being there for a few minutes, she told us that she would have to cut the perineum to allow the baby's head to come through (i.e. do an episiotomy). Neither my wife nor I knew at the time that episiotomies are a ridiculous and totally unnecessary intervention, and that it would take over a year to fully recover from the painful effects of the damage. My suspicion is that the doctor was simply eager to get this over with and get on with her weekend.

A few minutes later, Solomon was born, his cord was cut, and he was whisked across the room to be weighed, measured, poked, prodded, etc. He was screaming at the top of his lungs non-stop until I spoke. The moment he heard my voice, he instantly stopped crying and looked around to see who was talking. Then he promptly went back to screaming again. I could not believe how much blood came out of my wife after he was born. I had never seen a childbirth, so it was all a new experience for me. When the nurses were done with all of their meaningless and unnecessary procedures, they handed the baby to Zsuzsa, and both mother and baby were instantly happy. For the next few days, it almost seemed surreal that we actually had a baby. We were both thrilled and enjoying our new family.

Due to fact that we had a bad experience at the hospital (although it could have been a lot worse), and especially because of the negative effects of the episiotomy, which we later learned was completely unnecessary, my wife began looking into other options. One day, when we were out soul-winning, we knocked on the door of another young couple named Ben and Carrie Fry who had a two small children and one on the way. They started coming to Regency Baptist Church with us, and we became friends. Carrie was seeing a midwife instead of a doctor and was planning on having a homebirth. Shortly thereafter, the baby was born, and everything had gone smoothly.

At first, I was opposed to the idea of using a midwife and having a homebirth. It was such a foreign idea to me because I had been raised with the views of conventional modern medicine. Then there was the financial issue. A hospital birth was fully covered by the health insurance I had through my job, but I would have to pay for the homebirth out of pocket. However, I knew that the hospital had been a bad experience, so in the end I relented.

After our second child Isaac was born at home, I was sold. Zsuzsa would go on to have our next 5 children at home with no drugs, no interventions, and no complications.
